A very attractive nutmeg grater with an elaborate pressed tin design. This nutmeg grater has a nicely patinated finish and is good a tight in it's construction. The unusual 8 rayed star, sliding panel on the back of this grater still has a good solid fit. Of English manufacture - circa 1900. 6-3/8" Long - 2-9/16" Wide
A nice Edgar nutmeg grater in good condition. Hinge assembly and lid are intact and the lid closes nicely. There is a little spatter of paint around the hanging hole. Overall this is a nice specimen. The length of this nutmeg grater is 6¼" with a width of 2½" at the top.
A Kreamer nutmeg grater in good condition that still retains much of it's tin plating. The hinge and lid are in good condition and the lid on the nutmeg compartment seals very nicely. This nice grater has no dings or dents and would make a very nice addition to any collection. The length of this nutmeg grater is 6-3/16" with a top width of 2½".
A coffin style nutmeg grater with remnants of it's original Japanned finish. The lid and hinge on the grater are intact and the lid closes tightly on the nutmeg compartment. Even the hanging wire is intact and unbent. This nutmeg grater comes complete with three nutmegs in it's compartment. This grater has a length of 5¼" and a width of 2" at the top.
A nice nutmeg grater with much of it's original japanned finish still intact. The hinge and lid assembly is in very good working order and has a star embossed on the top of the lid. The tin plating still has a nice shine for a grater this old. Length of this nutmeg grater is 5½" with a width of 1-7/8" at the top.
A very nice Boye Sanitary Nutmeg Grater made by the Boye Needle company of Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. The nutmegs are inserted into the spring loaded box which is then slid over the grating surface. These are a hard to find item and would make a great addition to any collection. This nutmeg grater has a length of 5¾" and a width of 1-3/8".

A unique, dual purpose nutmeg and bread grater. This specimen is hinged between the two different types of graters. The hinge assembly is in excellent condition and allows the unit to fold into itself to save space. The two different types of graters are labeled "Nutmeg" and "Bread" to differentiate their use. This specimen has a height of 4½" and an unfolded width of 4½".
A one of a kind nutmeg grater with a long wooden handle. This unique specimen has intricate punch work with even the sides folded into the wooden handle. The grater is mounted to the handle with one larger nail and four very small square headed nails on each side. The nice cherry colored, smooth patina makes this a very attractive specimen. The length of this nutmeg grater is 11½" with a width of 1".
A nice, primitive, hand made, coffin shaped nutmeg grater. A unique design with the back being punched out to act as the bottom of the nutmeg compartment. There is no lid on the compartment itself but the nutmegs would stay in place while the grater is hanging. Needless to say, this is a one of a kind nutmeg grater. Length of 4¼" and a width of 2" across the top.
A nutmeg grater with a wire handle and foot. This is a very nice size that looks great hanging on the wall. This nutmeg grater is a miniature version of the larger vintage food graters. A very collectable specimen. The height of this grater is 6" and the width is 2½".

Antique Grater - Slicer - Bromwell's GR42 A Bromwell's Grater - Slicer in Very Good + condition. It is very seldom that you find these with the metal slider to accompany the grater. This specimen is complete with the slider. This grater still retains nearly all of it's bright tin finish and the sliding box slides freely. A great addition to any kitchenalia collection.
Antique Grater GR38 A wonderful example of an early grater in Very Good condition. This little gem retains nearly all of its original bright tin finish and is free of any dents or dings. There is a small amount of light, cleanable rust on the bottom front of the piece. The design of the wire frame and handle allow this grater to display very well. A worthy addition to any collection.
Grater - Lightning Shredder 3 in 1 GR41 A complete set including the handle in very good condition. This shredder / grater is also known as the 3 in 1 and includes three different shredding plates comprised of a fine grating surface, a medium grating surface, and a course surface. Each of the three interchangeable graters retain much of their bright tin finish and measure 6 ¾” in length by 3 ½” in width. The overall length of the bracket and handle is 11”. A great addition to any kitchenalia collection.
Antique Grater - Kitchen Gadget High Speed Safety Grater GR40 An antique "Kitchen Gadget - High Speed Safety Grater" in Very Good + condition. This grater has three grating surfaces including a fine, medium and coarse "safety" grating surface. With it's bright tin finish this scarce grater specimen displays very well and will make a great accent piece for your vintage kitchen.

Grater - The Speed - E Shredder GR25 The Speed - E Shredder with a double grating surface. This specimen is in very good condition and retains much of it's bright tin finish. The grater - shredder has a double grating surface that is used by flipping the utensil end for end to produce a fine or course grate. A perfectly functional and attractive kitchen collectible.
Antique Grater - Punched Tin With Wood Handle GR18 An attractive smaller sized grater with a turned wood, black painted handle. This grater still retains much of it's bright tin finish and displays very well. Measuring 8 1/2" long by 3 1/2" wide.
Antique Grater - Bluffton Slaw Cutter GR15 This is a "Bluffton Slaw Cutter", of Bluffton, OH. The script on this specimen states - "Bluffton Slaw Cutter - Hold the fingers so they will not come in contact with the knives, after sliced down, press down with the palm of the hand until all is sliced - Patented Bluffton, OH". This cutter measures 13" long by 4 1/4 wide and still may be used for it's original utilitarian purpose. This cutter was one of the originals manufactured before improvements were made in the 1920's.
Antique Grater - Combination Grater GR13 This is a circa 1940 - 1950 Grater that is unmarked as to the manufacturer. It measures 11" long by 4 1/4" wide with 3 cutting surfaces.
Antique Grater - The "All In One" GR14 A grater made by American, the "All In One", and shown in "300 Years of Kitchen Collectibles". Made of tin and wire, this grater has 3 grating surfaces as well as a slicer. It measures 10 5/8" long by 4 1/4 wide. C. 1940
Antique Grater - Fels Naptha Soap GR17 A nice vintage grater advertising Fels Naptha Soap. This wire and tin grater still retains much of it's bright tin finish and measures 9" long by 4" wide. A great wall hanger as well as an interesting advertising collectible.

Near Mint condition Bromwell grater with it's original label still intact. "Bromwell's Greater-Grater - Easy to use Grates Rapidly - Safe and Sanitary For All Grating Purposes". The oval shaped grating surface still has a brilliant shine and the colors on the label are still crisp. These are scarce in this good of a condition and with an original label. The length of this grater is 4" - width of 3" and a height of 2¼".

A larger sized grater with a turned wooden handle and circular wire feet. This is a very attractive specimen. The heavy wire handle is complimented by a turned wooden handle. The curled wire feet have a diameter of 1/2". The length of this grater is 12½" with a width of 4¾" and a depth of 1¾".
A medium sized grater with a turned wooden handle with black painted finish. This specimen also has circular wire feet with a diameter of ½". The length of this grater is 8½" with a width of 3¼" and a depth of 1¼".
A one of a kind, hand made, primitive grater with a nice dark patina. With the heart cut out on the handle and the hand punched tin this is a truly one of a kind specimen. This primitive piece displays beautifully and would be the highlight of any collection. The length of this grater is 12¼" with a width of 1¾" at the base and 2¾" at the top. The hand punched grating surface has a width of 1¼" and a length of 6".
A hand punched, primitive, antique grater with a nice medium gauge wire handle. This specimen has a nice dark patina with only some spotty, easily cleaned surface rust and displays beautifully. This antique grater has a length of 11½" and an average width of 5".

A hand punched, primitive grater in a nice size. This half round specimen has interesting brace work on the back and the random pattern punch outs make this a one of a kind specimen. The length of this grater is 8" with a width of 2".

A very interesting slab grater with the patent date "June 11, 78". This is an over sized specimen that is a real attention getter. The punch outs were done in such a way that there appears to be a series of circles radiating out from the center of the grater. The length of this grater is 12" with a width of 7¼".
