Antique molds come in an endless variety of sizes and shapes and lend themselves to many purposes.  As useful in food preparation today as they were in years gone by they also can be utilized as beautiful accent pieces for the modern or the period kitchen.  Vintage Chef offers all types of molds including; pudding, jelly, bread, candy, madeline molds and more.


Jelly Mold

An attractive jelly mold with pillared sides and a sandtorten style top. This aluminum mold is in Very Good + condition and presents very well. The mold has a height of 3 1/4" with a width of 4 1/4".

Spouted Cake Mold - Tin

A large, vintage spouted cake pan in Very Good + condition. This pan is free of and dents or dings and still retains nearly all of its bright tin finish. This specimen even has the small legs that can be twisted above the rim of the pan to facilitate turn out and aid in keeping your cake from sinking. The sides of the pan have a gentle taper to create an elegantly style cake. With a depth of 4 1/4" and a diameter of 10" this pan will make a large cake.

Pudding Mold - Tin

Steamer mold for steaming pudding or brown bread. This mold has a Sandtorten style design on the top of the mold. This mold is of German manufacture and still retains much of its bright finish, especially on its interior. Overall height is 6" with the lid installed and a bottom diameter of 7 1/4" with a top diameter of 5½".

Here is a very interesting cake mold in darkened tin and it truly exemplifies the workmanship of an expert tinsmith. The seams and solder work on this pan are amazingly tight and clean and the bottom of the pan has a nicely rolled over edge. The embossed design around the perimeter of the pan is very detailed and its components were individually stamped into the tin. Considering its age, this mold still retains a good percentage of its bright tin finish , especially on the molds interior. The mold has a height of 4 ½” with a diameter of 8 ¼”. This mold would make a beautiful wall hanger or it would be a great accent piece in any room.

Here is a Victorian jelly mold with a rose motif and repousse work sides in a gothic arch pattern. These circa 1890 jelly molds are getting to be increasingly difficult to find and are a true collectible. This specimen is in very good condition and presents very well. The exterior of the mold has a pleasing, rust free patina with the base of the mold having a dark pewter coloration. The rose at the top of the mold still retains all of its bright tin finish. This specimen has a height of 5 ¼” with dimensions for the oval shaped body being 7” x 5 ½”.

Spouted Cake Pan - Brass

Here is a beautiful example of a large, heavy, brass spouted cake mold. This specimen includes a lid to completely enclose the contents while baking. This specimen is in very good condition with only a few small dents to the bottom of the pan. The pan has a height of 5 ¼” with a diameter of 10 ½”. A pan like this displays very well in a kitchen setting and makes a great conversation piece.

A Kreamer #47 Jelly Mold in Very Good + condition. This oval shaped specimen features a fruit and leaves motif. This tin mold still retains much of its bright tin finish and has crisp details. A great accent piece for any room.

Muffin Tin - Set of 4

A nice set of 4 vintage tin muffin pans in very good condition. Each of these heavy tin muffin pans has six cups with a diameter of 2" and a cup depth of 1". The tins measure 5 1/2" by 8". these are unmarked as to a manufacturer but are of the Ovenex style.

Griswold Griddle - Block Logo #9 - 609A

Here is an nice griddle in great condition. #9 Large Block Logo Griswold, pattern #609A cast iron griddle made by Griswold in 1925-1940. A nice solid piece for any collector or user. You seldom find these griddles in as nice a shape as this one. This griddle is in Very Good + condition it is NOT warped, pitted, cracked, or chipped. It does not rock or wobble when sitting on a flat surface. This is in great condition and would make an awesome addition to anyones collection.

Cake Pan - Vintage Crisco

An 8" X 8" tin Crisco cake pan in good condition. This pan has "Crisco - For Frying For Shortening For Cake Making" embossed on its bottom. This pan is constructed of good heavy tin that still retains much of its bright finish and has nice rolled over edges and folded corners. Great as an accent piece or for every day use.

Tart Pan - Set of 5

A nice set of five tin tart pans. Each of these pans is in very good condition and have nice rolled over edges. These pans have a height of 1" and a diameter of 3 1/4". Great for every day use or for primitive candles.

Bread Pan - Merit US

A medium sized bread or loaf pan in darkened tin. This pan is in good condition and has moderately tapered sides. The bottom of the pan is embossed with “MeritUS”. The pan has a nice rolled over edge as well as folded over corner seams. Nice dark tin patina with a large percentage of its bright tin finish still intact.

Mold - Baba Cake

A fine example of an early Baba Cake mold in very good condition. This spouted mold retains much of its bright tin finish and is free of any dents or dings. This specimen has a very nice pewter like patina and displays very well.

Tart Pan - Set of 8

A nice set of eight tin tart pans. Each of these pans is in very good condition and have nice rolled over flat edges just like their large pie tin counterparts. These pans have a height of 1" and a diameter of 4 1/4". Great for every day use or for primitive candles.

Jelly Mold - Kreamer 275

A Kreamer #275 Jelly Mold in very good condition. This specimen features pillared sides and a geometric and floral motif on its top. This tin mold still retains much of its bright tin finish to its interior and has crisp details. A great accent piece for any room.

A Kreamer #59 Ice Cream or Steamed Pudding mold in very good condition. This oval shaped specimen features a fruit and leaves motif. This tin mold still retains much of its bright tin finish and has crisp details. There is a little, cleanable, light rust around the rim of this specimen, which is typical for vintage steamer molds. A great accent piece for any room.

Cake Pan - Swans Down Cake Flour

A six sided Swans Down Cake Flour pan in very good condition. This pan has the words Swans Down Cake Flour embossed on its bottom. The sides of the pan are slightly tapered and would create a very interesting little cake. This vintage cake pan is nice and clean with the exception of two small, cleanable spots of light rust. A great kitchen or advertising collectible.

Bread Pan - Old English

A very nice example of a vintage bread or loaf pan emblazoned with an embossed "Old English". The pan is in very good condition and retains a high percentage of its original bright tin finish. With slightly tapered sides, this pan makes a nice sized 3" high by 9 3/4" long by 4 1/2" wide loaf.

Cake Pan - L. E. Brown - Centennial

A beautiful example of an early spouted cake mold. This specimen is the “Centennial Cake Pan” and it is very interesting in its design with its removable spout. This allows the pan to serve a dual purpose as either a spouted or un-spouted cake mold. Note the hasp assembly used to close the pan - this pre dates spring hasps on the more modern pans. The attractive brass tag on the bottom of the pan states “Centennial Cake Pan - Patented By L.E. Brown - May 30’ 1876”. The tag functions as a little flap to seal the bottom of the pan when the spout is removed. This specimen has a beautiful darkened tin patina and just the lightest spots of cleanable rust. The "Centennial Cake Pan" would hold its own in any vintage cookware collection or museum and displays very well.

Mold - Border or Savarin - Kreamer 60

A Kreamer #60 Border or Savarin mold in very good condition. This mold is free of dents and the interior still retains much of its bright tin finish. The older Kreamer tins have a good bit of substance to them and this specimen has a good heft to it. A nice darkened tin patina lets this mold display very well.

Tin Mold - Cutlet Style

An early Lewis and Conger mold in a cutlet shape. These were generally used to shape a mixture of minced meat and other ingredients but not used to bake the cutlet in. This mold is in very good condition with a nice pewter like, darkened tin patina. The interior retains much of its original bright tin finish. These are scarce and truly collectible.

French Roll Pan - W & B Company

A beautiful example of a French Roll Pan manufactured by the W & B Company. This specimen is free of any cracks or chips and has that wonderful aged cast iron patina. The bottom of this pan shows clear gate marks and sits level. All twelve of the cups are smooth and free of defects. This pan is ready to go back to work or to proudly be displayed in your kitchen.

A nice 6 1/4" square pudding mold in Very Good condition. This mold is complete with its cover and still retains much of its brilliant tin finish. This vintage mold displays very well and would make a great addition to any collection.

Hershey Chocolate Mold

Make your own Hershey bars!! Here is a mold from the Hershey factory. The exterior shows a little corrosion but the interior is good and clean. This mold has no dents, chips, or cracks. A fun collectable and a real conversation piece.

Cake Pan - Swans Down

A very collectable Swans Down Cake Flour cake pan with double release doors. This specimen has a small sliding door on opposite sides of the pan to aid in the release of the finished cake. This is a very clean example that still has a nice bright tin finish. Both of the doors open and close freely and there are no dents or dings. A great addition to any collection and real fun to cook with.

Heart Mold

An interesting, primitive, small heart mold made of tin. This mold would also work well as a cookie cutter. This is a clean specimen that still retains much of it's bright tin finish.

Griswold - Corn Bread Pan #22

Griswold #22 pattern #954 in very good condition. This is a very clean specimen with no cracks, chips or rough areas. The back of the pan states " No. 22 Griswold Corn Bread Pan Erie PA., USA 954".

A beautiful example of a cast iron muffin pan in very good condition. This pan consists of 8 different molds. The individual molds are well defined and show crisp details. The mold displays wonderfully. The dimensions of this pan is are 14 ¾ ” by 7 ¼” and a depth of 11/2”.

Cast Iron Muffin Pan

A beautiful example of a cast iron muffin pan in very good condition. This pan consists of 7 molds with two hearts, two rounds, two fluted rounds, and a central six pointed star.. The individual molds are well defined and show crisp details. The mold has a beautiful patina and displays wonderfully. The dimensions of this pan is are 9 ½” by 9 ¼” and a depth of 1/2”.

Cast Iron Cornstick Mold

A beautiful example of an early Cornstick Mold in very good condition. This pan consists of 7 ears of corn facing opposite directions. The individual molds are well defined and show crisp details. The bottom of the mold has a beautiful patina and is worn to the point that any markings are too faint to be legible other than a “ -0-” mark. The length of this pan is 12 7/8” with a width of 5 7/8” and a depth of ¾” and a weight of 2 lbs. 4 oz.

Tin Cake Pan

A cake pan in heavy darkened tin. This pan has some heft to it and is solidly constructed. A nice clean specimen with no dings or dents and it still retains some of it's bright tin finish. It's nice dark pewter colored finish allows it to display very well. A great addition to your kitchen collection.

Tin Mold - Fries #6 Border Mold

A darkened tin Fries #6 border mold in very good condition. Very pleasing dark brown patina and still very sound. The interior tube has a with of 3 1/4". This specimen displays very as a wall ornament or is perfectly functional for every day usage.

Melon Mold - Ice Cream or Pudding

A tin melon or pudding mold in a larger size. This specimen has two intact handles with good tight solders. The exterior finish has a pleasant patina but does show a few little scratches and scuffs - but no dents or dings. The interior still retains a brilliant tin finish. A great piece for any collection of kitchenalia.
An antique tin bread mold in very good condition. This mold is made of heavy tin and is very sound in it's construction. All seams are tight and the hasp assembly functions perfectly. This specimen displays wonderfully and is as functional today as it was 100 years ago. Great for any kitchen collection.

Bread Or Baking Pan

Antique tin bread or baking pan with a segmented body. This two piece pan has bail snap enclosures that also act as the pans feet. This creates a unique appearance to your finished bread and the pan makes a wonderful display piece. The pan has stamped patent dates of March 3, 1885 and July 7, 1896. The pan has an overall length of 11 1/2" and a diameter of 5 1/2".

A Kreamer, oval melon shaped mold for steamed puddings or ice cream. This specimen retains much of its bright tin finish and still has a brilliant tin interior. Rust free with the exception of a small amount on the rim of the piece. This mold displays very well and has a height of 4 1/2" and a 8" by 6" foot print. A great kitchen collectible.
